Please go in the android settings, Voice input & output (or similar text), and then you select text-to-speech settings, you will get to a list of Text-To-Speech engines, please check that Pico TTS is available and selected, and select English as Language in case of English Dictionary.

admin 145 post(s) Web site	On later Android releases (4.x) please go in the android settings, select Language & input, then you select text-to-speech output settings, you will get to a list of Text-To-Speech engines, please check that Pico TTS or Google Text-to-speech engine is available and selected, and select English (UK or US) as Language in case of English Dictionary.

admin 145 post(s) Web site	Additional checks: 1) verify that "Google Text-to-speech Engine" is installed and updated (Android Settings-->Apps) 2) verify that the correct Google TTS voice data is installed (Android Settings->Language & input->Text-to-speech output->Google Text-to-speech Options(small gear icon)->Install voice data

admin 145 post(s) Web site	If you tried previous steps without success, please download a third party text-to-speech engine, e.g. IVONA or similar from Google Play and select it as default TTS engine in Android settings.

admin 145 post(s) Web site	In case you have a Samsung device and you got problems with voice output, please use the default Google TTS (text to speech) engine instead of Samsung engine.
