Our application implements the standard solution based on Android PROCESS_TEXT feature:

1) from another application just long press the text as to copy it

2) a pop-up appears with "copy" and other options, including a symbol with 3 dots, click it.

3) select "English" and our English Dictionary will open with the selected word.
