ambrosia beetle (plural ambrosia beetles)
- Any of those species of true weevil (family Curculionidae) that live in nutritional symbiosis with ambrosia fungi, including almost all of the species of the subfamily Platypodinae and some of the species of bark beetles in Scolytinae.
