   •    Under the later Inca professional farms, the whole of the realm from the coast to the upper Amazon River became a flowering centre of plant domestication. Among them are potatoes, squash, tomatoes, beans, peanuts, peppers, papaya, cashews, pineapples, chocolate, avocadoes, mulberries, strawberries.
